Celebrate the rich culinary history of Mexico with an evening of fine food and traditional spirits benefitting UTSA’s esteemed Mexican Cookbook Collection, a precious San Antonio archive that includes thousands of titles dating back over 230 years. Our guests of honor, mezcal expert Pedro Jiménez Gurría and Chef Roberto Solis, will indulge guests with a unique mezcal and wine tasting experience and a vibrant Mexican dinner. We’re also excited to offer a private viewing of a selection of UTSA’s Mexican cookbooks, guided by the university’s archivists and rare book experts.
