ABOUT

Born and raised on the west side of San Antonio, Texas, Ramón Darío Botello is a guitarist/multi-instrumentalist and music educator in San Antonio and South Texas. As the guitarist for several local groups, Ramón’s unique rhythmic approach to the guitar captures a combination of genres including Latin Blues, Flamenco, Funk, Alt Country, and Cumbia. Ramón has performed alongside groups such as ZZ Top, Chicago, Edgar Winter, and Grupo Fantasma, and has shared the stage with legends Max Baca y Los Texmaniacs and members of Los Lobos.  Working with Grammy Award-winning percussionist Nina Rodriguez, Ramón continues to empower his local community through music education programs like Musical Bridges workshops and music lessons.
